The Green Party of Knox County is a local affiliate of the Green Party of the United States and the Green Party of Tennessee.
The Green Party of the United States is a progressive American political party.
We welcome all citizens interested in restoring the progressive tradition of American government.
- We believe in value-based politics as outlined in the Ten Key Values. Our values oppose systems extolling exploitation, consumption, and non-sustainable competition.
- We believe in truly democratic, financially independent politics and an active, responsible government.
- We believe political power is vested in citizens and communities - not bureaucracies.
- We offer hope and a call to action.
This Website is for positive promotion of the Green Party, its goals, aims,
and views. If you are tired of a government bought and sold by corporations, if
you care about the planet and ALL its inhabitants, we invite you to join us.
